CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - A pair of Army West Point baseball players, Mark McCants and Ben Smith, earned All-Patriot League awards for their performances during the 2015 season. McCants was named to the first team, while Smith collected second-team laurels. All-Patriot League honors were voted on by Patriot League head coaches, who could not select their own student-athletes or themselves.
McCants earns All-Patriot League recognition for the fourth time in his career and lands on the first team for the second time. As a freshman, McCants was named to the first team at designated hitter and was a two-time second team pick at DH each of the past two seasons.
