Firstie Rachel Hornick of the Army West Point women's lacrosse team became the first player in program history to reach 100 career points in the team's 19-4 victory over Wofford Thursday afternoon at Michie Stadium. The Black Knights improved to 5-2 on the year, while Wofford fell to 0-3. Army scored early and often in the first half with the first tally coming 2:24 into the contest. Second-year Emma Roerty got the ball rolling for the Black Knights on a feed from Hornick before rookie Jackie Brattan doubled the home team's score 35 seconds later with a free position score. The Garden City, N.Y., native added her second consecutive strike before a pair of goals separated by 21 seconds from Maddie Miller and Manuela Cortes pushed the advantage to five goals less than seven minutes into the game.
