Cadets from Project Management, from the Department of Systems Engineering met with Timothy Cain, Project Manager from the Army Corps of Engineers New York district and the Kokalakis Construction Superintendent to visit the Pershing Barracks remodel construction site. Cadets got to observe first-hand the complexity of completing a real-world, large-scale project under the constraints of scope, budget, quality, and time. The cadets were also exposed to the challenges of being a successful project manager, the importance of high-quality communication skills, and the numerous leadership qualities needed to keep a project on track.
