Four Army West Point wrestlers were recognized in the final NWCA Coaches' Panel of the regular season with five being named in the RPI rankings, which the NCAA released Thursday afternoon. Additionally, the NCAA released the allocations of automatic bids to the national tournament for each weight class and conference. In the final Coaches' Panel, 174-pounder Ben Harvey jumped to 25th, while firstie co-captain Andrew Mendel entered the rankings at 28th at 165 pounds. Rocco Caywood also moved up one spot to 29th at 197 pounds with Noah Stewart rounding out the group at 32nd in 184 pounds. Harvey was the only Army wrestler to earn a pre-allocation spot for the EIWA towards the total number of automatic bids to the NCAA Championships his weight class receives. Harvey improved to 15-7 on the year after defeating eighth-ranked Jadaen Bernstein, 7-6, to tie the dual in Annapolis on Saturday. It was his first career victory over the Mids and third over a ranked opponent this season. The New Palestine, Ind., native sports a team-best 6-2 dual record this year with two major decisions.
