Bethany Nunnery of the Army West Point women's cross country team has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League team, announced by the organization on Friday. Voting was conducted by the league's 10 cross country sports information contacts who could not vote for their own student-athletes. The yearling from Kingstown, R.I., carries a 3.478 grade-point average and is majoring in kinesiology. Nunnery helped lead Army West Point to a second-place team finish at the league championship meet. She earned first-team all-league honors with a seventh-place finish, clocking a time of 21:34.77. She has participated in every meet for the Black Knights this season, and consistently finishes as one of the top-two individuals for the team. Read More
