WEST POINT, NY - Junior Dan Grabher won 11-of-12 faceoffs in Army's 16-7 win over Holy Cross and was named the Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week on Monday. Grabher won the award for the second time this season and won the fifth weekly award for the Black Knights this season. In addition to the 11 faceoff wins, he picked up a game-high seven ground balls against the Crusaders. He also had a goal and an assist for two points on the day. He has a pair of multi-point games this season.
Grabher has a .726 winning percentage in faceoffs with 69 wins on 95 opportunities. He is second in the nation in winning percentage and while teamed with Alex Daly, John Ragno and Robby Woodings, the Black Knights are the top-ranked team in the country in winning percentage at .706.
