Pipes and Drums, as well as the Celtic Dancers, travelled to the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario, to participate in the Annual Exchange between the two schools. Cadets were hosted by and attended class with members of RMC’s Highlander Band, exposing them to the daily life as an RMC officer-cadet while bridging the cultural divide through mutual interest in Celtic traditions. Several members also participated in intramurals, PE classes, and snow-sports with their RMC counterparts. On Saturday, the bands conducted a joint practice workshop, culminating in a mass bands performance for the commandants of each school. The weekend concluded with an indoor performance by the bands during the hockey game intermissions to the likening of the general public. This was an unforgettable weekend that enriched the lives of cadets and helped build strong ties with our NATO partners to the North.
