Halbrook Garners Rookie of the Week Recognition

CENTER VALLEY, PA - Plebe Abby Halbrook of the Army West Point women's track and field team earned Patriot League Female Rookie of the Week honors on Tuesday. "Abby made a pretty significant statement in the mile run last weekend after coming into the race seeded 15th," said Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Mike Smith. "She is one of the fiercest competitors that I have ever coached." Halbrook captured the mile run title at last weekend's Joe Donahue Games, hosted by Northeastern, with a time of 4:56.51.
